Arlington Innovation Partners Appoints Jack Lifton to Its Advisory Board

World Renowned Critical Minerals Authority Brings Six Decades of Experience to AIP’s Advisory Board

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 19, 2026 – Arlington Innovation Partners LLC (“AIP”) is pleased to announce that Jack Lifton, Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Critical Minerals Institute (“CMI”), has joined its Advisory Board. A globally recognized authority on rare earths and critical minerals, Lifton brings extensive experience across materials science, industrial processing, manufacturing and supply chain analysis. His appointment strengthens the technical and commercial expertise available to AIP as it pursues opportunities to rebuild essential industrial capabilities in the United States and allied nations.

“Jack Lifton has spent more than sixty years at the center of the materials that power modern industry and national defense, and few people understand the critical minerals supply chain as completely as he does,” said David Argyle, Co-Founder and Partner of Arlington Innovation Partners. “He brings the technical depth to challenge assumptions and the commercial judgment to assess whether a proposed supply chain can deliver. That combination is highly relevant to AIP as we work to restore the processing and manufacturing capabilities on which strategic industries depend.”

“America’s critical minerals crisis was made in America, through decades of decisions that rewarded the dismantling of industrial capability,” said Jack Lifton. “Rebuilding that capability requires patient capital, proven metallurgy and customers willing to make long-term purchasing commitments. I am joining AIP because its focus on metallization, alloying and manufacturing puts investment where mineral resources become industrial strength. Our success must be measured by the ability to build enterprises that qualify their products, secure customers and sustain competitive production long after the initial financing has been spent.”

Lifton’s career began in 1962 as a physical chemist specializing in the purification of rare metals and the preparation of their compounds and alloys for electronics and energy storage applications. His subsequent experience includes research, technical operations, plant management and executive leadership in the automotive electronics and rare metals industries. He also holds a law degree, complementing his scientific training and corporate experience. As a consultant, author and lecturer, he has advised on critical minerals markets, processing technologies and the connections between resource development and industrial demand. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of InvestorNews.com and Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Critical Minerals Institute.

AIP’s strategy focuses on securing metallization and alloying capacity, connecting those capabilities with primary and recycled feedstocks, and selectively extending into advanced engineering and manufacturing. Its target markets include defense, nuclear energy, aerospace, robotics and critical infrastructure. This approach evaluates supply chains from the requirements of the finished product back through processing and raw material sourcing, with attention to production capability, cost competitiveness and supply security.

Lifton’s combination of scientific knowledge, operating experience and market analysis brings a practical perspective to these priorities. His experience across refining, fabrication and manufacturing provides a basis for assessing how individual projects fit within a functioning industrial supply chain. That perspective complements AIP’s emphasis on connecting critical minerals investment with the physical production capabilities required by end users.
