   My bets are currently on Defense Metals and the plans they are currently in with their deposit. Even Byron King in a YouTube video stated he thought they had some of the highest grade rare earths anywhere. Vitals recent video with Geoff Atkins states his company is content just supplying feedstock. Not Aggessive enough for me.

   I would like to add that after deeply looking into Pat Ryan of Ucore . Also the president of Neocon International Ryan’s firm is making parts for electric vehicles that include the Nissan Ariya and the Cadillac Lyric. Last year, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, his engineering staff won bids to fabricate plastic flooring of the Amazon delivery vans to be manufactured by Rivian Automotive.

      Rob – I think statements like ‘not aggressive enough for me’ send the wrong message. Not sure why VITAL is being debated in this column, but I wanted to share with you that Peter Clausi will be interviewing Geoff Atkins this week.

      Now with regards to Defense Metals, I see that former analyst Dr Luisa Morena has joined the Directorial Board. We have followed Defense Metals and I have left a message for someone in their company to secure an interview on Critical Materials Corner with Jack Lifton.    Maria – Thank you for your comments. Comparing VITAL and APPIA is an incorrect conclusion as the formulas for both companies are quite different. The challenge with rare earths is that they are indeed a complex material that must be extracted from a source – and this is only 1 of 6/7 stages that must occur to get them in fighting magnetic material play. I think this interview, in my humble opinion, is about the extraordinary monazite that APPIA has and how a better understanding of this mineral for extracting rare earths is critical for us to understand. It is also my professional opinion that the Chinese have their heads around this formula and seem to be investing in this mineral —- .
