TORONTO, ONTARIO – May 8, 2025 – The Critical Minerals Institute (CMI) is delighted to confirm that Stuart Gale, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Meteoric Resources NL (ASX: MEI), will headline two sessions at CMI Summit IV, May 13–14 at The National Club, Toronto. Gale will deliver the keynote “Rare Earths in Brazil” on Wednesday, May 14 (10:45 – 11:00 AM ET), offering delegates an insider’s view of Meteoric’s Caldeira Ionic-Clay Rare Earth Project in Minas Gerais. Later that day, from 12:50 – 1:40 PM ET, he will join Panel 07, “The Global Quest for Critical Minerals – Spotlight on Brazil,” moderated by Peter Clausi, alongside Constantine Karayannopoulos, Christopher Eager, and Stephen Burega.
With more than 20 years in the resource sector, Gale has steered billion-dollar lithium, gold, and rare earth portfolios as CEO, CFO, and strategic adviser. Before joining Meteoric, he managed Resolute Mining’s multi-mine gold platform in West Africa and served as CFO of Mineral Resources’ lithium division, driving the Mount Marion and Wodgina projects in Western Australia.
“Brazil’s ionic-clay rare earths give us a once-in-a-generation chance to build a low-cost, low-carbon supply outside China,” Gale said. “Our Caldeira Project alone could satisfy a double-digit share of forecast global demand for magnet metals, and partnering with downstream processors in Canada and the United States can bring that supply to market at unprecedented speed.”
Tracy Hughes, Founder and Executive Director of CMI, commented:
“Stuart brings the credibility of a proven mine builder and the vision of a strategist who understands the urgency of diversifying rare-earth supply. Delegates will hear how Caldeira can anchor a new Western magnet-metal chain and why Brazil’s ionic-clay deposits are poised to shift the balance of global production.”
CMI Summit IV will convene more than 300 industry executives, policymakers, and capital-market leaders under the theme “The War for Critical Minerals and Capital Resources.” For registration and the full agenda, visit CriticalMineralSummit.com.
