TORONTO, ONTARIO – April 30, 2025 – The Critical Minerals Institute (CMI) is pleased to announce that Christoph Hinder, Global Head of Metals & Mining and Managing Director at Jefferies LLC, will headline Day Two of CMI Summit IV with a keynote address scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at The National Club in Toronto.
Hinder’s presentation — “How to Navigate the Development of Critical Minerals Projects in a Scarce Capital Environment” — will provide delegates with battle-tested strategies for structuring project finance, attracting institutional investors and executing M&A in today’s capital-constrained marketplace.
In addition to his keynote (Wednesday, May 14, 8:55–9:15 AM), Hinder will join the high-profile panel “The War for Capital in the Critical Minerals Sector: Where and How to Find Capital Resources” (2:15–3:05 PM) alongside senior financiers from ARA Partners, Kingswood Capital Partners and IDAP Global LLC.
“Capital has never been more selective,” said Hinder. “Yet the global drive for energy transition and supply-chain security is creating unprecedented opportunities for projects that can check the right boxes on ESG, jurisdictional stability, commercial appeal and cost-curve competitiveness. My goal is to equip developers and investors with a clear playbook for mobilizing the sophisticated funding these assets deserve.”
Tracy Hughes, Founder & Executive Director of CMI, commented:
“Christoph applies the same Ironman-level discipline and endurance to investment banking that he does on the racecourse — combining Wall Street rigor with field-proven mining insight. That relentless focus on preparation and timing makes his guidance on deal structuring and market entry indispensable for taking a critical minerals project from the start line to the cash-flow finish.”
