Jack Lifton talks with Dr. Anthony Mariano, “the most senior rare earths geologist on the planet”

In this InvestorIntel interview with host Jack Lifton, consulting mineral exploration geologists Dr. Anthony N. Mariano, PhD. and Anthony Mariano, Jr., who have 100 years of geological experience between them, evaluate rare earth deposits around the world and discuss the status of available processing facilities.

In the interview, which can also be viewed in full on the InvestorIntel YouTube channel (click here), Dr. Mariano says that there are enough rare earths accessible in the Americas and Europe to be independent of China, and although “it may be costly to produce, it’s like jet fighter aircraft or all the ordinance and the high technology that we use today – they’re expensive but when you need them, you get them.”

Anthony Jr. tells King that “there there are many, many potential rare earth deposits that have been located domestically and they vary in lanthanide distribution, so there is plenty for the magnetic rare earths as well as the traditional more light rare earth dominant deposits. The question is,” he continues, “can these things be exploited economically?”
